The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in a televised session at 11:10 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Mauril Bélanger, Sarmite Bulte, Pierre de Savoye, Wendy Lill, Rick Limoges, Clifford Lincoln, Inky Mark, Dennis Mills, Mark Muise.
Acting Member present: : Irwin Cotler pour John Godfrey.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Joseph Jackson, Research Officer.
Witness: From the Department of Canadian Heritage: Alex Himelfarb, Deputy Minister.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), meeting with the Department of Canadian Heritage.
The witness made a statement and answered questions.
At 12:35 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
