The Standing Committee on Natural Resources and Government Operations met at 11:07 o’clock a.m., this day, in room 362-E, East Block, the Chair, Brent St. Denis, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Réginald Bélair, Gilles Bernier, Gerry Byrne, David Chatters, Roy Cullen, Pierre de Savoye, Yvon Godin, Ovid L. Jackson, Jerry Pickard, Carmen Provenzano, Ben Serré, Brent St. Denis and Bob Wood.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Jean-Luc Bourdages and Jack Stilborn, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From Margaree Consultants Inc.: Erik Haites, Consultant. From Pembina Institute for Appropriate Development: Robert Hornung, Director, Climate Change.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the terms of reference it adopted on April 23, 1998, a study on climate change.
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 12:38 o’clock p.m., the Committee considered future business.
And lack of quorum having been noticed;
At 12:40 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
