Wednesday, March 17, 1999
The Standing Committee on Health met in camera at 3:40 p.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, Joseph Volpe, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Ovid Jackson, Maria Minna, Rose-Marie Ur, Maurice Vellacott, Judy Wasylycia-Leis.
Acting Members present: Keith Martin for Reed Elley; Yvon Charbonneau for Robert Nault.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Nancy Miller Chenier; Sonya Norris and Gérald Lafrenière, Research Officers.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study on the State or Organ and Tissue Donation in Canada. (See Minutes of Proceedings dated Tuesday, December 1, 1998).
The Committee proceeded to consider its future business.
At 5:00 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
