Inscription: ERECTED TO THE MEMORY OF BOWMAN BROWN LAW, M.P., REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COUNTY OF YARMOUTH, N.S., WHO MET HIS DEATH IN THE GREAT FIRE WHICH DESTROYED THE PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS, 3rd FEBRUARY 1916.

On February 3, 1988 a brass plaque was installed beside B.B. Law commemorative tablet to honour the other six victims.
