[English]

Good morning, everyone. Welcome to the Standing Committee on Public Accounts. This is meeting number 7, of Tuesday, April 12, 2016.
Before we go in camera to look at the report of chapter 4, we have some committee business to deal with. We are public now and will go in camera later.
The steering committee met yesterday. You have the report from that meeting yesterday from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure of the public accounts committee. I'm going to give you a few moments, if you haven't read through it, to take a look at it. We have a choice here. I would like to have discussion on any part that you may wish, but then, rather than going each step of the way, I would like to just adopt it as the second report.
We'll give you a moment to read through it, unless you want it read into the record.
Are there any questions coming out of this? You see that the committee will table in the House its 15th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd reports from the last Parliament and ask for a government response.
Just as a reminder, for the public accounts conference from August 21 to August 23 in Yellowknife, we are going to ask for a budget for all members to travel. It would also allow our clerk and an analyst to come with us.
Take a look at your schedules. According to the way the discussion went yesterday, we would not replace a member of the committee. If one of you couldn't attend, it's not just a question of getting somebody else from your party to replace you. Typically, less than the full committee has gone. We've heard from Mr. Christopherson that he would strongly encourage all to attend, because you'll see some of the work of the provinces as well as the whole concept of what public account committees are supposed to be doing. I haven't been to one, but I look forward to it.
Try to block off those days. It's not a Friday or Saturday, so it wouldn't interfere with those days in the constituency. It is a Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. The steering committee wants all members to try to be there, and we invite you to be a part of this.
Does anyone have anything else, coming out of the steering committee? If not, I would like the report's acceptance to be moved.

  (0855)

It's moved by Mr. Christopherson and seconded by Ms. Mendès.
(Motion agreed to [See Minutes of Proceedings])
The Chair: We're now going to suspend momentarily, giving us time to go in camera.
    [Proceedings continue in camera]
