Pursuant to Standing Order 106(4), the Committee commenced consideration of the request by four members of the Committee to study developments in the accusation that the Prime Minister and his closest political allies conspired to stop the criminal trial of a company accused of bribery.

Motion

Pierre Poilievre moved, — That, notwithstanding the motion adopted on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, and following the public statement the same day by the Hon. Jody Wilson-Raybould offering to provide more information to Canadians should it be requested, the Committee invite her to appear no later than Thursday, March 14, 2019.

Francis Drouin moved, — That the Committee do now adjourn.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:

NAYS: Michael Barrett, Michael Cooper, Pierre Poilievre, Tracey Ramsey — 4.
