Election of Chair
Pursuant to Standing Order 106(2), the Committee met for the purpose of electing a Chair. Pursuant to Standing Order 106(2), the Clerk of the Committee presided over the election of a Chair.

On motion of Gary Anandasangaree, it was agreed, — That Robert Oliphant be elected Chair of the Committee.

At 8:50 a.m., Robert Oliphant took the Chair.

Election of Vice-Chairs
Pursuant to Standing Order 106(2), the Clerk of the Committee presided over the election of a Vice-Chair.

On motion of Larry Maguire, it was agreed, — That the Hon. Michelle Rempel be elected First Vice-Chair of the Committee in absentia.

At 8:52 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
