Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, the Committee commenced its study of a potential Canada–Mercosur free trade agreement.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $28,200, for the study of a potential Canada-Mercosur free trade agreement, be adopted.

Joseph Galimberti and Paola Saad made statements and answered questions.

At 9:41 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:46 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Angelo DiCaro, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, and Claire Citeau made statements and answered questions.

At 10:41 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
