The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 2:03 p.m. this day, in the Salon 1 & 2, The Westin Bayshore Vancouver, Vancouver, British Columbia, the Chair, Gary Schellenberger, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Diane Bourgeois, Hon. Hedy Fry and Gary Schellenberger.

 

Acting Members present: Denise Savoie for Charlie Angus.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Marion Ménard, Analyst; Matthew Carnaghan, Analyst.

 

Witnesses: British Columbia Film: Richard Brownsey, Executive Director; Michael Francis, Chair. Save Our CBC Kamloops: Pam Astbury, President; David Charbonneau, President, Trio Technical. Citizens' Coalition for the Protection of Canadian Films: Carl Bessai, Chairperson.
