The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration met at 1:57 p.m. this day, in the Muskoka 1 - 2, Renaissance Toronto Airport Hotel, Toronto, Ontario, the Chair, Andrew Telegdi, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Colleen Beaumier, Inky Mark, Hon. Andrew Telegdi and Lui Temelkovski.

 

Associate Members present: Nina Grewal.

Panel I. Citizenship

 

Olya Odynski, Alexandra Chyczij and Tony Letra made statements and, with Manuel Alexander and Theresa Rodrigues, answered questions.

 

At 3:11 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:35 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, October 27, 2004, the Committee resumed its study of Family Reunification Issues.
 

Panel II. Family Reunification

 

Eugen Duvalko, Joy Sioson, Tanya Chute Molina, Ron Chyczij, Shan Padda and Rafia Haniff-Cleofas made statements and, with Sanjiv Dhewan and Connie Sorio, answered questions.

 

At 4:55 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:06 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 

Panel III. Family Reunification

 

Max Chaudhary, Chris Pullenayegem, Greg deGroot-Maggetti, Cynthia Pay, Farah Mawani and Axelle Janczur made statements and, with Camilla Jones, answered questions.

 

At 5:15 p.m. Lui Temelkovski took the Chair.
