The Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 3:34 p.m. this day, in Room 237-C Centre Block, the Chair, Sue Barnes, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, Roy Cullen, Nick Discepola, Shawn Murphy, Pauline Picard, Gary Pillitteri, Tony Valeri and Bryon Wilfert.

 

Acting Members present: Christiane Gagnon for Pierre Paquette, Brian Masse for Judy Wasylycia-Leis and Chuck Strahl for Rahim Jaffer.

Pursuant to Standing Order 83(1), the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations.
 

Panel I: Thomas A. Brzustowski, Joanne Kelseman, David W. Strangway, John Mountain, Robert J. Giroux and Tom Hopkins made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

 

At 4:49 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:51 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 

Panel II: Julie Gelfand, Paul Ledwell, Marta Crago, Cathy Moore, Fran Cutler and Glen O'Farrell made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.
