The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food met in a televised session at 9:06 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Charles Hubbard, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: David L. Anderson, Rick Borotsik, Garry Breitkreuz, Murray Calder, Mark Eyking, Marcel Gagnon, Charles Hubbard, Larry McCormick, Dick Proctor, Bob Speller, Paul Steckle, Rose-Marie Ur.
Acting Member present: Carol Skelton for Howard Hilstrom.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), study of the future role of the Federal Government in Canada's Agricultural sector.
The witnesses made presentation and answered questions.
At 11:16 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

It was agreed, -- That the farmers in the room be allowed to make a short 2 minutes presentation to the Committee to express their views on the farm income current situation.
At 12:45 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
