At 11:32 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 11:37 a.m., the sitting resumed.
By unanimous consent, it was agreed, — That exceptionally, the meeting proceed despite the suspension of interpretation services due to technical difficulties.
Questioning of the witness resumed.
The committee resumed consideration of the motion moved by Mark Gerretsen on Thursday, June 11, 2020, which read as follows:
That notwithstanding the reporting deadline of June 23, 2020, stipulated by the House instructions of Tuesday, May 26, 2020, the committee recommends that it be given an extension until Friday, July 10, 2020, to present a report in relation to its current study of parliamentary duties and the COVID-19 pandemic; and that this recommendation be reported to the House.
Debate arose thereon.
It was agreed, — That the debate be now adjourned.
It was agreed, — That the committee discuss planning of future business at the beginning of the meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
