Pursuant to the orders of reference of Saturday, April 11, 2020, and Tuesday, May 26, 2020, the committee resumed its study of parliamentary duties and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aleksander Essex, Nicole Goodman, Pierre Roberge and Michael Morden made statements and answered questions.

At 12:29 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:36 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Ali Ghorbani, Guy-Vincent Jourdan and Chris Vickery made statements and answered questions.

Motion

Blake Richards moved, — That the committee order the House of Commons Administration to produce, no later than Monday, June 15, 2020, all contracts, master service agreements, licensing agreements and terms and conditions, including and in respect of data collection, use and disclosure of personal information and third party contractual arrangements that it has entered into with Zoom Video Communications, Inc. and any of its subsidiaries, affiliates or agents.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

Motion

Mark Gerretsen moved, — That notwithstanding the reporting deadline of Tuesday, June 23, 2020, stipulated by the House instructions of Tuesday, May 26, 2020, the committee recommends that it be given an extension until Friday, July 10, 2020, to present a report in relation to its current study of parliamentary duties and the COVID-19 pandemic; and that this recommendation be reported to the House.

It was agreed, — That the debate be now adjourned.

It was agreed, — That the committee discuss planning of future business at the end of the meeting on Friday, June 12, 2020.

At 2:29 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
