Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, June 16, 2022, the committee resumed its study of research and scientific publication in French.

Linda Cardinal, Valérie Lapointe Gagnon and Éric Forgues made statements and answered questions.

At 7:30 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 7:34 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Martin Normand, Annie Pilote and Benoit Sévigny made statements and answered questions.

At 8:31 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 8:34 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Chérif F. Matta and Marc G. Fortin made statements and answered questions.

On motion of Chad Collins, it was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 7,550, for the study of research and scientific publication in French, be adopted.

At 9:29 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
