Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 29, 2020, the committee resumed its study of the Canada Infrastructure Bank.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 3:45 p.m, pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 4:14 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:34 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Motion

Stephanie Kusie moved, — That, pursuant to the Order of Reference from the House dated February 25th, the Committee invite the Minister of Transport and Minister of Infrastructure and Communities to appear for no fewer than 2 hours each regarding the Main Estimates 2021-2022. That this meeting be televised if possible, and that this meeting take place no later than May 31, 2021.

Debate arose thereon.

Amendment

Churence Rogers moved, — That the motion be amended by replacing the words “2 hours” with the words “one hour”.

The question was put on the amendment of Churence Rogers and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:

YEAS: Taylor Bachrach, Xavier Barsalou-Duval, Chris Bittle, Fayçal El-Khoury, Andy Fillmore, Michael Kram, Stephanie Kusie, Churence Rogers, Doug Shipley, Maninder Sidhu, Gerald Soroka — 11;

NAYS: — 0.

The question was put on the motion, as amended, and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:

The motion, as amended, read as follows:
