The subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That parties submit their witness lists for a briefing on the human rights situation in Columbia, to the Clerk, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

It was agreed, — That parties submit their witness lists for a briefing on the human rights situation in Hong Kong, to the Clerk, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

It was agreed, — That parties submit their witness lists for a briefing on the human rights situation in Turkey and Northern Syria, to the Clerk, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

It was agreed, — That parties submit their witness lists for a briefing on the human rights situation in the Philippines, to the Clerk, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the subcommittee on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, the subcommittee resumed its study of the impact of COVID-19 on displaced persons, with a focus on displaced persons from Venezuela and Myanmar.

The subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That all documents submitted for subcommittee business that do not come from a federal department or a Member’s office or that have not been translated by the Translation Bureau be sent for prior linguistic review by the Translation Bureau before being distributed to members of the subcommittee.

It was agreed, — That the clerk inform each witness who is to appear before the subcommittee that the House Administration support team must conduct technical tests to check the connectivity and the equipment used to ensure the best possible sound quality; and that the Chair advises the subcommittee, at the start of each meeting, of any witness who did not perform the required technical tests.

At 7:12 p.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
