Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, October 15, 2020, the committee commenced a briefing with the Office of the Auditor General.

Andrew Hayes made a statement.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the subcommittee meet as soon as possible to study and make recommendations to the committee for a work plan.

It was agreed, — That the Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development and other departmental officials be invited to appear on Report 1, Follow-up Audit on the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, of the 2020 Fall Reports of the Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development, on Thursday, November 5, 2020.

At 12:03 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:20 p.m., the sitting resumed in a public and televised session.

Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4), the committee commenced consideration of the Main Estimates 2019-21: Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General, referred to the committee on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

The Chair called Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General.

Karen Hogan made a statement and, with Andrew Hayes, answered questions.

Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General, less the amounts voted in the Interim Estimates, carried.

ORDERED, —That the Chair report Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General, less the amounts voted in the Interim Estimates, to the House.

At 1:03 p.m., the {committee/subcommittee} adjourned to the call of the Chair.
