Pursuant to Standing Orders 110 and 111, and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, June 3, 2021, the committee commenced consideration of the Order in Council appointment of Monique Gomel to the position of interim Chairperson of the Canadian Tourism Commission, referred to the committee on Friday, May 28, 2021.

Monique Gomel made a statement and, with Marsha Walden, answered questions.

At 1:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
