Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, the committee resumed its study of the support for Indigenous communities, businesses, and individuals through a second wave of COVID-19.

Janna MacKay and Debbie Martin made statements and answered questions.

At 6:47 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 6:57 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Debbie Martin and Bryan Mark made statements and, with Janna MacKay and Angeline Gillis, answered questions.

At 7:37 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 7:44 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

Motion

Sylvie Bérubé moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee resume and complete its study on food security in northern communities undertaken during the first session of the 43rd Parliament and that the evidence and documents received by the committee at that time be considered by the committee during the current session and that the committee report its recommendations.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to.

It was agreed, — That members send their suggested list of witnesses for their study of food security in Northern communities to the clerk by 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

At 8:37 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
