Pursuant to Standing Order 111.1(1) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, June 14, 2021, the committee commenced consideration of the certificate of nomination of Daniel Therrien to the position of Privacy Commissioner, referred to the committee on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

The witness made a statement and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the committee has considered the proposed appointment of Daniel Therrien as Privacy Commissioner of Canada and endorses his appointment.

Motion

Brenda Shanahan moved, — That the committee do now adjourn.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:
