Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, the committee resumed its study of the Economic imperative and long-term importance for small rural municipalities outside of major cities to retain new immigrants.

Andrea Wilkey, Erin Rooney, Syed Hussan, Agop Evereklian and Leah Nord made statements and answered questions.

At 4:36 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 4:43 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:13 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Tareq Hadhad and Joel Blit made statements and answered questions.

At 5:53 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
