Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, February 1, 2021, the committee resumed its study of the Labour Market Impact Assessment under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.

Casey Vander Ploeg, Jolayne Farn and Brandon Ellis made statements and, with Sheri Sommerville, answered questions.

At 5:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:12 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the motion adopted by the House on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, the committee resumed its study of the impact of COVID-19 on the immigration system.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Immigration in the Time of COVID-19: Issues and Challenges".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 6:00 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
