Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, the committee proceeded to a briefing with the Information Commissioner of Canada.

The witness made a statement and answered questions.

At 4:30 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:34 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vii) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, February 24, 2020, the committee commenced its study of the possible reform of the national identity system.

The committee proceeded to a briefing on the report entitled "Privacy and Digital Government Services" adopted in the first session of the 42nd Parliament.

At 4:40 p.m., Brenda Shanahan took the Chair.

At 4:45 p.m., the Chair took the Chair.

It was agreed, — That the evidence and documentation received by the committee during the First session of the 42nd Parliament on the subject of privacy of digital government services be taken into consideration by the committee in the current session; and That the committee adopt the report entitled Privacy and Digital Government Services adopted during the first session of the 42nd Parliament.

At 5:30 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
