It was agreed, — That the meeting scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2020, focus on the study of Canada’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, provided that (a) the individuals or organizations invited to appear are able to testify about small agricultural businesses or farms or about the regions’ processing capacity, and that (b) the recognized parties are able to send the clerk the names of additional witnesses or a prioritized list of witnesses for this meeting no later than Thursday, June 4, 2020, at noon.
It was agreed, — That the committee resume its study of business risk management programs by dedicating three meetings to that subject between now and Friday, June 19, 2020.
It was agreed, — That a letter to the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food be prepared regarding the study of business risk management programs.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108, the committee invite the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and the appropriate officials from her department to appear in relation to its study of the Supplementary Estimates (A) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2021, provided that the meeting is held before those estimates are examined by the House of Commons in a Committee of the Whole.
