Pursuant to Standing Order 32(1.1), a message received from the Senate was deposited with the Acting Clerk of the House earlier today as follows:

Conformément à l'article 32(1.1) du Règlement, un message reçu du Sénat est déposé auprès du Greffier par intérim de la Chambre plus tôt aujourd'hui comme suit :
— ORDERED: That a message be sent to the House of Commons to acquaint that House of the following:

— ORDONNÉ : Qu’un message soit transmis à la Chambre des communes pour l’en informer de ce qui suit :

That the Senate concurs in the amendments made by the House of Commons to its amendments 2(c)(i) and 3 to Bill C-14, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and to make related amendments to other Acts (medical assistance in dying); and

Que le Sénat agrée les amendements apportés par la Chambre des communes à ses amendements 2c)(i) et 3 au projet de loi C-14, Loi modifiant le Code criminel et apportant des modifications connexes à d'autres lois (aide médicale à mourir);

That the Senate does not insist on its amendments 2(a), 2(b), 2(c)(ii) and 2(c)(iii), to which the House of Commons has disagreed.

Que le Sénat n’insiste pas sur ses amendements 2a), 2b), 2c)(ii) et 2c)(iii), auxquels les Communes n’ont pas acquiescé.

Royal Assent Sanction Royale

A message was received informing the Commons that on June 17, 2016, at 4:21 p.m., His Excellency the Governor General signified Royal Assent by written declaration to the following Bills:

Un message est reçu avisant les Communes que le 17 juin 2016, à 16 h 21, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général a octroyé la sanction royale par déclaration écrite aux projets de loi suivants :

Projet de loi C-14, Loi modifiant le Code criminel et apportant des modifications connexes à d'autres lois (aide médicale à mourir) — chapitre no 3;

Projet de loi S-1001, Loi autorisant La Capitale sécurité financière, compagnie d’assurance à demander sa prorogation en tant que personne morale régie par les lois de la province de Québec.
