Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, December 1, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of aviation safety.

Michael Ferguson made a statement and, with Lucie Talbot and James McKenzie, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That an additional hour be devoted to the study on aviation safety in order to hear testimonies from representatives of Aéroports de Montréal.

At 12:00 p.m., Luc Berthold took the Chair.

Motion

Alain Rayes moved, — That the Committee commit the full two hours of its Tuesday, May 16, 2017 meeting to witness testimony on the Infrastructure Bank, that the committee invite three additional witnesses to appear in the first hour of the Tuesday, May 16, 2017, meeting, with the Liberals, Conservatives, and NDP each proposing one witness, and that the Committee write a letter to the Standing Committee on Finance to request additional time to conduct its study of the Infrastructure Bank.

Motion

Angelo Iacono moved, — That the debate be now adjourned.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 5; NAYS: 3.

Questioning of Michael Ferguson resumed.

At 1:01 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
