Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the Navigation Protection Act.

Emma Lui, by videoconference from North Vancouver, British Columbia, and Adrienne Davidson, by videoconference from Washington, D.C., made statements and answered questions.

At 9:32 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:32 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, May 30, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of certain provisions of the Fair Rail for Grain Farmers Act.

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Certain Provisions of the Fair Rail for Grain Farmers Act".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analyst be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That dissenting and/or supplementary opinions be in Arial 12 point font, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically in both official languages to the Clerk of the Committee no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That a news release be prepared by the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, for publication on the Committee's website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee make the necessary arrangements for a press conference, after tabling of the Committee’s report to the House, at the discretion of the Chair.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, February 22, 2016 the Committee resumed its study of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) regulations.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a report
