The Subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Subcommittee business.

The Clerk gave a presentation on the financial status of the global envelope for committee activities.

It was agreed, — That, effective immediately, all travel budget requests presented to the Subcommittee include a maximum of seven members participating, along with the necessary staff, and that this decision be presented to the Liaison Committee.

Pursuant to Standing Order 107(1), the Subcommittee resumed its study on budget submissions.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans be granted a travel budget of $81,989 to travel to St. John’s, Port De Grave and Fogo, Newfoundland and Labrador and to Miramichi, New Brunswick, in the Fall of 2016, in relation to its studies on wild atlantic salmon in eastern Canada and northern cod stock.

At 2:12 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
