Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, September 20, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of Clean Technology in Canada's Natural Resource Sectors.

John Barlow gave notice of the following motion:

That the Committee invite the Minister of Natural Resources to appear before it to explain the government’s rationale for changes made to the Canadian Exploration Expense for exploration drilling.

Walter Kresic by videoconference from Edmonton, Alberta, Alex Ferguson, Thomas Mueller and Cameron Spady made statements and, with Darren Gerling, answered questions.

At 5:32 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
