Chris Bittle moved, — That the Committee proceed to sit in camera.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 5; NAYS: 1.

At 11:07 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

It was agreed, — That the Chief Electoral Officer of Ontario be invited to appear on Thursday, June 14, 2018, in relation to the study of Bill C-76, An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act and other Acts and to make certain consequential amendments.

It was agreed, — That, during the second hour of the meeting of Thursday, June 14, 2018, the Committee consider the draft report in relation to the study of the use of Indigenous languages in proceedings of the House of Commons.

It was agreed, — That the Hon. Karina Gould, Minister of Democratic Institutions, be invited to appear from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in relation to the study of Bill C-76.

It was agreed, — That the deadline to submit briefs in relation to the study of Bill C-76 be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for Members of Parliament who are not members of a caucus represented on the Committee to file suggested amendments in relation to Bill C-76 be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for members of the Committee to submit amendments in relation to Bill C-76 be 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018.

At 12:10 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
