Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee commenced consideration of Report 5, Preparing Women Offenders for Release—Correctional Service Canada, of the Fall 2017 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

Michael Ferguson and Anne Kelly made statements and, with Carol McCalla, Kelley Blanchette and Jennifer Wheatley, answered questions.

At 4:20 p.m., Alexandra Mendès took the Chair.

At 4:35 p.m., Kevin Sorenson took the Chair.

At 5:06 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 5:10 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:11 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a preliminary submission for travel to Charlottetown, P.E., in September 2018, to attend the annual Conference of the Canadian Public Accounts Committees and Canadian Council of Legislative Auditors , be submitted to the Subcommittee on Budgets of the Liaison Committee before Friday, May 4, 2018.

It was agreed, — That a preliminary submission for travel to London, United Kingdom, in December 2018, to attend the Conference of the Commonwealth Association of Public Accounts Committees, be submitted to the subcommittee on budgets of the Liaison Committee before Friday, May 4, 2018.

It was agreed, — That the Committee hold meetings to study the Special Examination Report—Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, of the Fall 2017 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, and the Special Examination Report—Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, of the Fall 2017 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 and Thursday, May 3, 2018.

It was agreed, — That the Committee would not sit on Thursday, May 10, 2018.

At 5:31 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
