Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, the Committee proceeded to a briefing with the Office of the Law Clerk and Parliamentary Counsel.

André Gagnon and Philippe Dufresne made statements and answered questions.

ORDERED, — That the Chair write a letter to Mr. Philippe Rabot asking for further information in relation to the April 21, 2016 meeting on the study of Chapter 6, Canada Pension Plan Disability Program, of the Fall 2015 Report of the Auditor General of Canada.

At 9:51 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:57 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, the Committee resumed consideration of the Public Accounts of Canada 2015, referred to the Committee on Monday, December 7, 2015.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Public Accounts of Canada 2015".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the Committee print 15 additional copies of the Report on the Public Accounts of Canada 2015.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 10:28 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
