Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee commenced consideration of Report 7, Consular Services to Canadians Abroad—Global Affairs Canada, of the 2018 Spring Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

Michael Ferguson and Ian Shugart made statements and, with Heather Jeffrey and Carol McCalla, answered questions.

At 5:21 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:24 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Committee Business

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the previous deputy ministers of and the executives at the Department of Public Works and Government Services who oversaw the Phoenix Pay system project, be invited to appear before the Committee on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

At 5:43 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
