The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in the context of the Committee's study of the hiring of veterans for public service positions, the deadline for requests to appear be Thursday, April 18, 2019.

Canada Green Building Council
• Thomas Mueller, President and Chief Executive Officer
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, September 20, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of the Greening Government Strategy.

Thomas Mueller, by videoconference from Vancouver, British Columbia, made a statement and answered questions.

At 4:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:02 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Kelly McCauley moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee invite the Procurement Ombudsman to provide a briefing on the lead up to his investigation of a government sole-sourced contract to Torstar Corporation for committee monitoring which was terminated following his intervention, and that the meeting be held no later than Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

Debate arose thereon.

At 5:01 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
