Minutes of Proceedings
The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Toward a New Action Plan for Official Languages and Building New Momentum for Immigration in Francophone Minority Communities".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and Analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
It was agreed, — That the Analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee's website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.
At 10:07 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 10:13 a.m., the sitting resumed.
It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the routine motion governing staff attending in camera proceedings, adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 , Paul Lefebvre's guest as well as Linda Lapointe's guest, be permitted to attend today's in camera meeting.
At 10:41 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
