Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That, further to the motion adopted on February 1, 2018 regarding the Committee’s comprehensive study of community capacity building and retention of talent in the delivery of essential services on reserve: the study include Indigenous education and graduation rates from elementary to secondary schools; the scope of the study include capacity building for talent retention and the recruitment of Indigenous employees in various fields; the study review regional and community organizations which already have programs in place; the witness list include First Nation community representatives, subject matter experts on professional retention, and Indigenous led organizations who specialize in recruitment and retention; and, the Committee report its findings to the House.
At 4:10 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
