Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, March 8, 2017, the Committee commenced consideration of Bill C-211, An Act respecting a federal framework on post-traumatic stress disorder.

The witness made a statement and answered questions.

At 12:14 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:21 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, February 15, 2017, the Committee commenced consideration of Bill S-211, An Act respecting National Sickle Cell Awareness Day.

The Committee commenced its clause-by-clause study of the Bill.

Pursuant to Standing Order 75(1), consideration of Clause 1 (Short Title) and the Preamble was postponed.

The Chair called Clause 2.

Clause 2 carried.

Clause 3 carried.

The Bill carried.

ORDERED, — That the Chair report the Bill to the House.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $4,700.00, for the study of thalidomide survivors contribution program, be adopted.

By a show of hands: YEAS: 4; NAYS: 1, it was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $10,100.00, for the study of Bill C-211, An Act respecting a federal framework on post-traumatic stress disorder, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of anti-microbial resistance, the members of the Committee submit their lists of witnesses to the Clerk of the Committee no later than Thursday, May 18, 2017.
