Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on May 17, 2016, the Committee commenced its study of the Relevance of the principle of adjacency and the owner-operator and fleet separation policies in the Pacific Region.

Conrad Lewis, Arnold Nagy, Joy Thorkelson and David Boyes made statements and answered questions.

At 17:05, Robert Sopuck took the Chair.

At 17:08, Scott Simms took the Chair.

At 5:24 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:26 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $4, 800, for the study of the Relevance of the Principle of Adjacency and the Owner-Operator and Fleet Separation Policies in the Pacific Region, be adopted.

At 5:31 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
