Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

Dan Albas gave notice of the following motion:

That the Standing Committee on Finance undertake a comprehensive study on the First Report by the Advisory Council on Economic Growth and that the Committee report its findings to the House.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, the Committee commenced its study of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

Mark Machin made a statement and, with Edwin Cass and Michel Leduc, answered questions.

On motion of Steven MacKinnon, it was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Finance invite the CEO of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board to appear before the Committee to review the Board’s results on an annual basis.

At 12:29 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
