Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of violence against young women and girls in Canada.

Bilan Arte, by videoconference from St-John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Daphne Gilbert, Elizabeth Sheehy, and Danika McConnell made statements and answered questions.

At 4:28 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:32 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Alexander Wayne MacKay, Nicolette Little and Lori Chambers made statements and answered questions.

At 5:30 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
