Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of the system of shelters and transition houses serving women and children affected by violence against women and intimate partner violence.

Megan Walker, Jayce Beaudin-Carver, Marilyn Ruttan, Donna Mullen, Grace Costa, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, Alma Arguello and Tara Setaram made statements and answered questions.

At 5:54 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:55 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 6:01 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
