Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, the Committee commenced its study of the system of shelters and transition houses serving women and children affected by violence against women and intimate partner violence.

Catherine Scott, Charles MacArthur, Justine Akman and Margaret Buist made statements and answered questions.

At 4:59 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
