The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

On motion of Pam Damoff, it was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $18,750, for the study of gender-based analysis, be adopted.

At 3:39 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:40 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of violence against young women and girls in Canada.

Lori MacDonald made a statement and, with Shirley Cuillierrier and Angela Connidis, answered questions.

At 5:30 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
