Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, March 22, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of breach of personal information involving Cambridge Analytica and Facebook.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vii), the Committee conduct a study on the theft of personal information of Canadian customers of Marriott/Starwood hotels between 2014 until present, and that representatives from Marriott International and Starwood-branded properties in Canada be invited to appear.

At 12:02 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, March 22, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of breach of personal information involving Cambridge Analytica and Facebook.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 12:59 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
