Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Monday, March 19, 2018, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-69, An Act to enact the Impact Assessment Act and the Canadian Energy Regulator Act, to amend the Navigation Protection Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts.

Joshua Ginsberg, Bill Namagoose, Jamie Kneen, and Anna Johnston made statements and, with Jean-Sébastien Clément, answered questions.

At 4:45 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:52 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Stephen Hazell, Rodney Northey and Jay Morrison made statements and answered questions.

At 5:30 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

At 5:52 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
