Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, March 1, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of migration challenges and opportunities for Canada in the 21st century.

Jennifer Bond made a statement and answered questions.

At 4:33 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:39 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Audrey Macklin, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, Anna Purkey and Jamie Liew made statements and answered questions.

At 5:29 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:30 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study on Migration Challenges and Opportunities for Canada in the 21st Century, the Committee submit a preliminary proposal for travel to the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets of the Liaison Committee.

At 5:44 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
