Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of the Immigration and Refugee Board's appointment, training and complaint processes.

Kimahli Powell, by videoconference from Geneva, Switzerland, Sean Rehaag and Maurice Tomlinson, made statements.

At 11:18 a.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

Sharalyn Jordan, by videoconference from Vancouver, British Columbia, made a statement.

At 11:26 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Preevanda Sapru, Andrew Brouwer and Michael Tutthill made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 1:06 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:08 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of settlement services, members submit their lists of prioritized witnesses, including their contact information, to the Clerk of the Committee no later than Monday, April 9, 2018.

At 1:08 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
