The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee be authorized to purchase gifts to be presented to the delegation from Denmark.

It was agreed, — That the meeting of the Committee on Thursday, February 9, 2017, be dedicated to a briefing from the Minister of Small Business and Tourism, and government officials on the CanExport Program and other measures being pursued to educate and support small and medium Canadian businesses seeking to take advantage of trade agreements.

It was agreed, — That the Chair submit to the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets of the Liaison Committee the preliminary submission of travel to United States.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, the Committee resumed its Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) Public Consultation.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 5:19 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
