Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, the Committee commenced its study of Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Claire Citeau, Don Darling, Jim Everson and Don McCabe made statements and, with John Masswohl, answered questions.

Motion

Ruth Ellen Brosseau moved, — That, in relation to the study of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the Committee consider a draft report and present its conclusions to the House.

The question was put on the motion and it was negatived on the following recorded division:

YEAS: Ruth Ellen Brosseau, Jacques Gourde, Bev Shipley, Chris Warkentin — 4;

NAYS: Pierre Breton, Francis Drouin, Mark Gerretsen, Lloyd Longfield, Eva Nassif — 5.

The Committee resumed consideration of the Trans-pacific Partnership.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 5:33 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
